Hi, The project will use: C#, ASP.NET, Web forms, Dropbox API and a little JS We are looking for a simple integration of dropbox files into an aspx control. We have files sitting on a Windows 2012 R2 server which are stored in Dropbox (in the local Dropbox folder). An aspx grid control has a line for each of the files. There is already a column which shows the subfolder location and a column which shows the current file name. Your job will be to add functionality to show a link in a newly created column in the grid control which will allow the user of the grid control to click and then a new browser window will open which will load the file from Dropbox via the Dropbox API. Dropbox supports opening these (all PDF acroform files) files nicely. One challenge is that the user will not be given the login credentials as we will have many users opening the files and they don't have the login information. Looking at the documentation for the Dropbox API it seems that they don't want people hard coding the authentication information into "Dropbox apps". Please have a look at the following links which mention authenticating once only: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] Also open to a solution which does not use Dropbox and serves the files straight to the user via the browser but think it will be quite complex to implement nice viewing of the PDF within the browser as you can see in the attached files. Hello, The dropbox button can't be disabled. It's part of the Dropbox website. I can help you achieve what you are looking for. I have several years of experience with different API frameworks including .NET. I can help you add that new column with the link to the Dropbox. I believe most modern browsers, Chrome, IE10 & 11, Firefox and Safari can open PDF within the browser. All functionality will remain the same, zooming, scrolling, etc...
