MPD/MPC script on Raspberry

We are looking for a skilled programmer for a longterm co-operation for a Raspberry Pi based web radio project. The described task is a very small part of the project but a good to test of the co-operation for both sides. The task: Write a bash script/perl/pyhton/c++ program to control the MPD/mpc on a Raspberry PI B+ computer. The requested program's features: - Run in daemon - After every reboot automatically load 5 web radio stream - Connect to the last played one and start playing - In case of internet problem switch to backup mode and reload a specific playlist - Continuously monitor the internet connection, if the connection is ready switch back from the backup mode to the last played stream. - The backup switching has to happen after the end of a track and not during the tracks - The volume has to be faded at startup and between the backup and stream switching The environment: - Raspberry PI B+ - Raspbian - Debian wheezy linux distro - MPD/mpc - bash/perl/python/c/c++ Requirements to the task be considered as completed: - Short program documentation (variables, functions, etc.) - The source code has to be structured, easy to read and well commented in English - The program has to satisfy all the feature requirements during the tests We are looking forward to find a trustable freelancer who can join to our project!
