Previously, I have automated around 100 test cases of a mobile app (Logistics Domain) using Appium + Java. The tests used to execute on both iOS and Android, physical devices as well as simulators/emulators. I had created a data-driven automation framework in Java to facilitate this automation. The framework was highly re-usable, maintainable and scalable. I have used XCode as the IDE and iOS simulator of XCode for the automation.
