Dear Sir I am 53 years old and have been doing English Hindi translations and proofreading for 11 years as full time home based freelancer. Hindi is my native language. I am an engineer by qualification. I have handled millions of words across the decade. On this site itself, I have done some 30 English Hindi translation projects. I can translate 3000+ words per day, so I will take about 4-5 days to finish 14,000 words. The rate you are offering (1 cent per word) is actually half of the current running market rates. I have bidded the same amount, but I would be more comfortable if you could raise it somewhat. May be your bonus would make up for the deficit. According to me any student coming from hindi language as mother tongue shall do this project very well. I have completed my schooling in hindi medium after that i have done professional course in english. completing my graduation with english language makes me to understand english also along with hindi. Now on average a page consists around 500 words and for a quality translated material it will take really some effort that's why i shall not promise to do the work in few days, minimum 10 days will be required.
