Split up pages of scanned book PDFs

I have a set of 293 PDFs taken from a scan of a book. The pages were scanned two at a time, like this (from a different book): [login to view URL]
What I need you to do is:
1. If the scan is upside-down (some of them are), rotate it right-side up.
2. Split each page into an individual PDF.
3. Crop out any extraneous space (so that the page and text are the only thing visible).
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Be sure to name the files so that the pages stay in the proper order.
- Whatever process you use, you MUST NOT decrease the quality of the PDF images -- they must stay at full scanned resolution, with no artifacts added.
