This is a Jet Sales Website similar to a real estate or auto sales site (mls/multiple listing service) but for aircraft. We have provided a PDF file that gives an overview of the look we'd like. We would like clean, simple programming for easy updates wherever possible. Scope – Graphics – Improve on basic logo provided and site to look much like our sample which is pulled from another site's look – see PDF for more details. The individual listings should be laid out as shown on our Home Page sample but within boxes or lines since more than one will come up in a search. Web Design and Scripting – HOME Page with search engine/ drop down menu with the search by Make/Model and price – bluebook price if asking price is not available, CONTACT US Page, Change or ADD LISTING Page (with login/lost password setup for changes later, photo upload, and popup response that listing and recapped information that was received.) PAYMENT Page/Form (May not be PayPal). Initial Database Merge into Site – Open to suggestions but we will need you to merge our existing .xls file (about 20 files but can be combined into fewer if that is easier for you) of approximately 2600 aircraft (all same headings), photos of aircraft (about 85% have one or more photos which we have in standardized jpg file names to match serial numbers for easy import), and one calculation sheet so we can change the Bluebook values fairly simply from a list of make/model/year without re-entering each aircraft value a couple times per year(not critical). We will give you a short sample .xls file and photos to start with – the merge fields shown on the PDF will be finalized at that time. Working Database – Something simple, with some of the aircraft info and all the owner / broker contact info and place for notes/payments etc. Would be same .xls files as above but choosing different heading/fields to start with. We use ACT! now but open to suggestions that might interact well with the site. Would be nice if could be used to create one-time invoice but not critical. Languages – The site will have the drop down box for multiple languages as shown in our PDF but just set up the site in English to start – with any other selection just reverting to Home. The FAQ, Industry Info pages, and more advanced SEO will also be added at a later date under separate price (although we will supply you with some minimal SEO information for this initial website design). This is a tight budget, but ongoing project for an experienced programmer. Time frame 10-20 days. Please (1) submit SIMILAR sample sites you have created with your initial bid and (2) confirm that you have viewed the PDF so we know you fully understand the project.
