To be fair, I would much rather ask for less (around 400 USD) and instead migrate your site to Wordpress which is a lot better of a CMS than joomla I have been working with wordpress for the past 7 years as both a user and a developper. I have earned my Wordpress Guru badge after numerous successful projects (websites, themes, plugins). SEO-wise, I have been doing on and off site optimization for the past 10 years and with the right budget and/or state of mind, I can take you where you need to go in less than a month.
