PopScholar is a startup working to build an educational social networking site designed specifically for students and their supporters. Students can post accomplishments and connect with supporters willing to encourage their personal growth. Popscholar is looking for a part-time Java web developer to be part of a growing technology team. Developer Responsibilities - Develop and test web modules using responsive design - Work with the PopScholar team to understand new requirements and implement new website features - Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review Developer Skills and Qualifications - Java, Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate, SQL, JUnit, EasyMock, Selenium, JSP, CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, Responsive Web Design - In addition to experience with the technologies mentioned above, candidates must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
