Remote printing from RDC clients on Win Server 2008 R2 fails

On our new Windows Server 2008 R2 some Remote Desktop users are experiencing printing issues. I have tried the following: Without Easy Print ============== 1. On the server explicitly disabled Easy Print in the Group Policy Editor (Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Session Host > Printer Redirection > Use Remote Desktop Easy Print driver first) 2. On the server explicitly installed the user's printer drivers for 32 and/or 64 bit (depending on user's OS) => some users could print, others couldn't With Easy Print ============ 1. On the server explicitly disabled Easy Print in the Group Policy Editor => some users who couldn't print without Easy print could now print, others who could print without Easy Print can no longer print. Scope of the project: - 5 remote users with different printers need to be able to print from their local terminal to their local printer - I don't care whether the solution uses Easy Print or not... as long as everyone can print. - start out with a fix for my own printer in an RDC sesion, since I experience the same problem, when that is fixed we move on to the other users
