I need entire recovery and backup of VPS (Virtual Private Server) including database. You will recover data using knoppix in kvm console provided by ionos. VPS has Ubuntu OS 18.04 installed. This is small task, Max budget is $30. Don't over bid because it will be waste of time and I wont contact you. If this project goes well, then I have plenty more in near future. Type "knoppix" in proposal, so I know you have read this project description.

I would like someone familiar with networking and firewalls to show me how to set up a guest operating system that connects to the internet and acts as a sandbox for the host OS. The guest OS is Ubuntu 16.04 running inside VirtualBox (or a similar software) on a 64bit host operating system (Knoppix or Windows 7). The host operating system is totally blocked from accessing the internet or even local networks (preferably by a free firewall; ideally COMODO firewall), only allowing connections to and from VirtualBox, or to and from the IP address for the guest OS. The Ubuntu firewall is set up to only allow software package updates, system updates, and browsing with firefox (ports 53, HTTP, HTTPS). I know how to add individual rules to Ubuntu's own firewall, so no worries here. Ple...

Recently my centos system crashed and i suspect the files system has gone kaput. When i try to boot, the screen is stuck on grub. All my tries to mount the drive have failed till now.. According to what i remember, the file system format was EXT4 but its not able to mount it even when i try to mount it using Knoppix. There is data on my OS drive as well as other drives that were attached to the same system which i dont want to delete. So if anyone can help me fix the drive so that i'll be able to copy my data off it before reinstalling the OS then it would be really nice.

You will write an add-on or program to IceWeasel 42.0 running on Linux Knoppix 7.6.1 (debian based Linux) that will save complete whole webpages in 2 different ways. 1 is with a single keypress. The other is on a time basis which can be set in settings. Here are some 1st draft notes: -project to save web pages complete on both a time basis and with a single keystroke without confirmation. -Easy easy to install -will work with firefox as well -saves the complete web page , with the few exceptions such as facebook -facebook only loads a portion of the web page. -detect when a new page is loaded (maybe) this is less important -save the page with name format year, month, date, hour, minute, second -save the current page every x set-able seconds .
