Our company needs an on-line marketing strategy that will provide strategic direction for the next two to three years. [login to view URL] is a manufacturer of secret storage boxes from recycled books. Our products are sold under a variety of different names; bookboxes, secretstoragebooks, stash books, stash boxes, These-are-not-books, This-is-not-a-book and/or storage books. They are all hand made in canada. We have two web sites. For wholesale customers; www.BookBoxCompany.com. For retail customers; www.SecretStorageBooks.com. Until recently, our marketing efforts have focused on traditional channels such as manufucturers representatives and wholesale trade shows. The cost and awkwardness of traditional distribution channels has forced us to rethink the way we do business. As a result, we are in the process of eliminating traditional marketing channels and moving entirely on-line. An on-line marketing plan has been developed but we are not sure of its quality or comprehensiveness. We are seeking input from companies with experience developing on-line marketing strategies. The BookBoxCompany has considerable in-house expertise in marketing and understands internet technologies and on-line marketing channels. In other words, we are not complete novices (at least we don't think so). However, we feel that input from knowledgeable and creative third parties would broader our perspecitve and improve the quality of our on-line strategy. Detailed, proprietary information will be released to a short list of companies with demonstrated experience and creativity. Please feel free to ask questions. Answers to any particular question will be forwarded to all respondents until a short list has been created. I look forward to hearing from some great imaginations. Brian Egan CEO.
