I need an URL ReWrite solution for a standard OsCommerce [login to view URL] running on Apache / PHP. The addon should be built like a regular OsCommerce Addon (see [login to view URL]), easily on/off from Admin and with proper documentation. ## Deliverables The rewrite should respect the following rules: 1. PRODUCTS. If we have a product "tshirt" in the category "Clothing", the URL should be like "[login to view URL]". If we have a product "tshirt" in the category "Clothing" and the subcategory "Men", the URL should be like "[login to view URL]". 2. CATEGORIES. The URL for category "Clothing" should be like "[login to view URL]" or if we have the subcategory "Men" it should be "[login to view URL]". 3. GET VARIABLES. No variables are allowed in the URL. No products_id, no cPath, oscID or any other variables. They need not to be visible. 4. URL FORMATING FLEXIBILITY. The URL formatting should support both "-" and "_" as divider for the words. The categories are divided with "/". Example for product "white shirt" in the category "clothing" and subcategory "men": "[login to view URL]" as well as "[login to view URL]". There should be a switch in Admin for choosing between the two. 5. URL EDITABLE. The URLs for categories, products and manufacturers should be editable in Admin. When editing the categories, products or manufacturers in Admin, I need an input field where to specify what I want the URL to look like. Example: for product "white shirt" I want to have the URL "[login to view URL]". For category "Clothing" I want to have the URL "great-clothing". 6. URL AUTOMATIC CREATION. By default, the URL should be formed using the name of the products, categories or manufacturers for these 3 topics. For rest of the website, the URL should form automatically, by adding ".html" instead of the default ".php". For example "[login to view URL]" or "[login to view URL]". 7. DOCUMENTATION. All the changes in the original files should be commented in the php file and documented in a Word file. The Word file should contain step-by-step installation instructions and will keep track of all the changes. Example: New files to add: [login to view URL], [login to view URL] in "admin/includes" Files to modify: [login to view URL] line 3 comment or delete "..." replace with "..." [login to view URL] line 200 delete "..." [login to view URL] add "..." at the end of the file and so on. When I go to a modified file I want to be able to spot the changes immediately by looking for the comments. 8. OTHER CONSIDERATIONS - You can draw inspiration / work on / modify SEO-G addon for OsCommerce. It's made really nice and offers most of the things I want, however not everything. I don't mind if you use it. - The addon should integrate nicely with OsCommerce and not making it impossible to further customize or install addons. - At the end of the project I expect to receive a zip file with the new files, the modified ones and the documentation as explained above. This addon will be installed by another team on our servers. 9) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement). 10) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 11) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Employer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Worker in ready-to-run condition in the Employer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the employer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this project. ## Platform Apache / PHP / IE7+ / Latest Mozilla, Opera, Chrome & Safari.
