I need to implement a URL ReWrite for an OsCommerce online store. It runs on Apache / PHP / MySql. You can use your own solution or modify an existing OSC addon (SEO-G, Ultimate URL, etc). The addon should be properly commented so other teams will be able to make adjustments. The addon should do the following: 1. The url for the categories, manufactures and products should follow the breadcrumb. So if we have cat1 -> cat2 -> product1 the url should be [login to view URL] 2. The url should be free (invisible) of any GET variables or identifiers (cPath, pID, mID, etc) 3. The default url for categories, manufactures and products should be the name of the category / manufacturer / product BUT it should also be directly editable in admin -> categories / manufacturers etc. 4. The internal divider should be "-". Example: if you have a product "shirt for kids" it should translate to [login to view URL] 5. The url should be cache-able to make the server's life easier. 6. The addon should be easy to turn on / off from the OSC Admin. Same for the cache.
