Animation Video: Inner workings of an Electromechanical Relay

We rebuild TIPMs, which stands for "Totally Integrated Power Module". A TIPM is the fuse and relay box in all Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and RAM vehicles, and some Volkswagens that Chrysler built for Volkswagen. We need a short animated video segment that shows how relays work. Learn about what a relay is here: [login to view URL] the animation will probably be 15 - 20 seconds. No sound needed. 2D or 3D depending upon cost. The attached powerpoint is a "rough storyboard" of the total video. You should view the powerpoint in "Notes" view, so you can read the script. From you, I will need what is happening in slide #5. You will need to put the Powerpoint in Slideshow mode to see the rough idea I have about how the animation might flow. Pressing space will advance the animation. However, I want you to do the video your own way, as long as it clearly summarizes for the average person how a relay works, and makes all the key points in the voiceover. My mockup is just to give you some ideas. I will send you the voiceover recording once we've shot the video, so that you can time the animation effects nicely to the flow of the voiceover. Tell me how much this should cost in 2D vs. 3D. I have a preference for 3D if you can pull it off cost-effectively. Project timeline is probably about 3 weeks from now.
