Over the past many years I and others have built an Object-C application for mac that is very old and while it still runs well it is reaching end of life and requires XCode 13 to build with the Legacy system. It is necessary for the continued use of the application for it to be upgraded/updated to work on current systems including Mac silicone.
The application is used to create Microsoft Word files and to manage a database of these files. It has two main branches; the first is a user interface that allowed the data entry that is used to create the word file. There is a companion iOS app that can create a txt file that can be imported to populate the data. This part of the app runs several applescripts scripts that tell Microsoft Word how to create the files.
The other branch of the app is a database built on SQLite that stores all the data entered by the user and acts as a project management portal of sorts- allowing the processing of data.
Attached are:
The source code and all associated files
A Word document describing the workflow of the application and goals. (included in the document is a link to a private YouTube video showing the application in action)
