Professional Writing & Editing (artist events)

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced freelancer write for an event (art exhibition) and write artist bios. The ideal candidate will have a passion for events, a deep understanding of the artist community, and a knack for crafting compelling narratives. This role will involve creating event proposals, event briefs, event templates, and artist bios that capture the essence of our vision and engage our target audience (collaborators and shareholders included). Responsibilities: * Develop event proposals that outline the concept, objectives, and logistics of each event. * Write event briefs to communicate key details and requirements to internal teams and external partners. * Create event templates to streamline the planning process and ensure consistency across all projects. * Craft artist bios that highlight their unique talents, background, and contributions to the event. * Conduct thorough research to gather relevant information and insights for each project. * Collaborate closely with the remote creative team to ensure alignment with the overall vision and brand identity. * Revise and refine content based on feedback from stakeholders and clients. * Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging talent in the event and artist communities. Qualifications: * Proven experience in writing event proposals, event briefs, event templates, and artist bios. * Strong understanding of the event management process and the needs of the artist community. * Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft clear, compelling, and concise content. * Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in research and writing. * Professionalism and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. * Strong communication and collaboration skills. * Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and creativity. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
