Objective: Design a wireless sensor network using Omnet++ or any other simulation tool, and manage the amount of power being consumed by the network efficiently using power estimation and power profiling strategies. Tools which can be used: Omnet++, MAC Protocol, ns-2, Prowler, J-Sim, PAWiS etc. Constraints: We have different sensors in our network which have different reception rates. For Example, we have an ECG sensor which takes “n” signals in a second and blood pressure sensor which takes “2n” signals in a second. Like that we take all the bio-medical sensors into consideration, form a network and manage its power efficiently. Note: Material(Related IEEE papers and Thesis) would be provided for the interested.
