Need Help with Dreamweaver CC

I am just learning how to use Dreamweaver CC. I have taken the html from a page that I worked on in Microsoft Frontpage and just inserted the html in my Dreamweaver page. When I preview the page in Internet Explorer, it looks pretty good, except that I have to click to allow "Active X" in order to see my navigation bar. Is that normal? But, when I preview the page in Google Chrome, I notice that the light blue boxes on the left side and right side of the page don't come down all the way to enclose the content in those blue boxes. (I am not sure what those light blue boxes are called, maybe div left and right?) So, the boxes end, and the text continues down the page farther and is just dangling there covering up other text. I need 2 things: 1- That page to be fixed so that it looks right in all browsers (I will need the html of the fixed page so I can just copy/paste it into Dreamweaver. 2- Using the format of that page, I want a page that I can use a a template for my other pages.(I will just change the text in the center of the page. Hi, I have understood your problem... It is basically a css problem. U need to adjust your css file to make sure it is same in all browsers. Normally, for the learners these problems are common. I can take up and solve this. can u plz provide the link or content of html and css to fix the problem. Looking forward for your response.
