Phonegap App

This app is to be combined with an existing WordPress installation and will require bi-directional syncing of MySQL and WebSQL/IndexedDB or another local storage option. The idea is that a user installs the app, upon install they are required to Register. (Network access is required to register) This registration is sent to the WordPress MySQL and local storage, so that the user is created in the App and online at the WordPress installation. After successful registration, the user is logged in to the App. Home page of the App will have 2 buttons: "View Locations" and "Add Location" When the User clicks "Add Location," a form is displayed that will submit 4 fields to local storage and to the remote db when a connection is available. The 4 fields are: Title (text field), Species (radio button), latitude and longitude coordinates (number). The latitude and longitude coordinates can be attained via phonegap geolocation or through google maps api, TBD by the developer. If the User clicks "View Locations," a page displays only the locations that the logged in user has submitted to the local and remote databases. This means the app must check for connectivity, sync databases if able, and then display list of Location entries. When a user clicks on any of the Location entries, the previous fields are retrieved and displayed. Another button is displayed on that page which says "Add a Note." This will bring a up a form that allows users to add a note for that location. Notes are made up of 3 fields: Date and Time created timestamp, Title, and Text. The notes will be displayed in a container, on the Location entry page, by order of date, DESC. Notes will also be synced between local and remote databases. Every time a user starts the app, the app checks for network status. If connected to the internet, sync DBs and then load local. If not connected to internet, load local db. Using a simple styling library is up to the developer...whether jQuery Mobile, Topcoat...or whatever you think will work best in this set up. I will add CSS and other elements later, but this is the core function and I do not have time to put it together, your help is greatly appreciated.
