I am seeking a Head of Sales, who is an expert in wholesale marketing to the retail enviorment, in assiting our company in driving sales for the Men's Workwear sector in bottoms and tops; primarily targeted towards young adults aged between 20 to 35+. The tasks include assessing the market conditions, creating a sales plan and budget that aligns with the style and needs of our target demographic, and formulating an effective marketing and sales strategy. This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a new company (30+ years of apparel experience) and be able to build up a sales division/team.
Ideal candidates should possess:
- Prior experience in apparel sales with a specific focus on men's pants. Workwear sector is a plus.
- Proven ability to target and engage with young adult demographic effectively.
- Must have some of these existing retail relationships: HOME IMPROVEMENT CHAINS (Home Depot,
Lowes); DEPARTMENT SALES (Kohls, JCP, Meijer); SPECIALTY RETAILERS (Tractor Supply; Rual King,
Orscheln Farm & Home, Big R Stores, etc); BIG BOX CHAINS (Walmart, Target); DISCOUNT BIG BOX
CHAINS (Costco, Sam Club, BJ's); and OFF PRICE CHANNELS (Marshalls, Ross, Burlington)
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies.
- In depth knowledge of consumer trends in workwear category.
- Merchandising skills a plus.
