Facebook LIKE via Mobile Bar Code : FBConnect API javascript

Want to create a Mobile barcode that upon scanning automatically "likes" a facebook page by the user. i understand that there i javascript involved when a user clicks on a like button, however i dont know how this would be accomplished via a URL redirect from a mobile barcode. i have also been told that a call to the FBconnect API may be the answer on doing this. we use this tool to create out mobile barcodes: [login to view URL] please let me know if you have any questions or need info that i may have left out.
