Thanks for posting your Request for Principals. I'm Tyler Maginnis, a U.S. based Open-Source software professional. I work with companies that actively contribute code to the Linux kernel and maintain a variety of Open-Source software packages and distribution. Every day, I create business requirements documents, fine tune functional specifications, project test cases and plans, detail technical design documents after gap analysis, and create end to end solutions based on business analysis and process documentation pertaining to CRM/ERP applications. . I have done this work with Enterprises in the fields of Engineering and Software Developmentt. The lessons learned in project life cycle in the network field translate nicely to the software development field. Since I have relevant experience across the fields of networks, systems, servers, and software, I have experience across all 7 layers of the Open-Systems Interconnection Model. Typically, I follow the ITIL approach to project management; however, I prefer not to be restricted by a particular framework, and I use ideas from SCRUM/Rapid to supplement my project management arsenal. I spearheaded the creation of OpenCashier, an Open-Source cash register that is Best-in-Class. It is integrated with Mapquest, Facebook, PayPal, Credit Cards, Cash Drawer, and Touch Screen applications. Additionally, I created a watercooled head for a 3d printer.
