Brief:
Transcribe the supplied code on pic which displays the current coordinates of the International Space Station in P5JS. Modify this code to change the visuals and document the results.
Process:
(Part A)
Transcribe the code from the image supplied on pic. Use the same line numbers and include all the comments. Save this as ISS Part A.
Record a short narrated screencast (approximately 1 to 2 minutes) of the working code with no modifications. During this screencast refer to the code comments and describe what's happening in the different parts of the code and how they are reflected in the sketches visuals.
(Part B)
Save a copy of your sketch and name it ISS Part B.
Modify the code to include the following:
Add your name as an extra line.
Add an extra vector shape or bitmap that moves and / or changes depending on the XY values of the mouse.
Changing the colour scheme and / or design for the background.
Extra modifications of your choice.
(More modifications = improved grade).
Do not use ChatGPT or any generative tools for the text or graphics.
Record a second screencast (approximately 1 to 2 minutes) demo of what your changed version looks like. Describe all your changes in your narration, and also note the changes in your code comments.
Upload the following :
An edited video combining screencast A and screencast B.
checklist for Part 2:
◻️ Narrated summary video that combines screencast A and screencast B. Include your name at the beginning. Test this before uploading. Unviewable videos will be marked zero.
◻️ A document including links to the P5JS code for ISS Part A and ISS Part B. Test these links before sending.
