I understand the principle of polar harmonic transforms and their advantages.
My experience in Matlab programming allows me to approach the implementation of these transforms.
I should mention here that I have implemented in Matlab an ultrasonic sensor simulator for mobile robotics, a virtual vision sensor and other complex functions for mobile robotics modeling.
Since the components of the transforms in question are double integrals, I intend to implement them as double sums in polar coordinates (2-D polar discretisation).
