Telemetry Sprint Timer

Objective: The intention of this android app development is to give aspiring athletes the edge when it comes to accurately recording race times. This app works by placing your android powered camera phone/tablets across your race finishing line with the camera facing parallel over the finish line. Once the race timer has been started the clock will continue to run until a runner passes in front of the camera. (Crosses the finish line) The camera will also take a photo in this instance displaying the photo finish. The race timer can either be started manually or be triggered be a customisable sound. Specific words can be used for short distance races, where as a whistle or race gun can be used for longer distance races. How the app will look: The main screen should display basic information for starting race timer as well as a few customisable settings. Race Mode: When race mode is clicked, the android device should enter full screen camera capture mode. Down the centre of this camera capture should be a thin faded line. This line should be matched with your finishing line.
