Invision Power Board is a commercially sold software, so probably there are better ways to get support than to get freelancers to tweak its code. Actually such modifications could be very troublesome if you later on would like to upgrade your software to a new version. BTW: please clarify: you have 3.4.0 version? It is strongly recommended to use latest maintenance upgrade which is 3.4.5 release over a year ago (AFAIK) What I could do it is to take a look at server side of your infrastructure and try to find bottlenecks out there, fixing them if possible, so you would optimally use your servers resources. Due to nature of this project I could not guess how much time it would take and how effective my changes would be, but as you could see in my previous projects (their reviews), I am really effective in this kind of job. However, there no miracles. As I wrote - editing forum software code is really bad idea, but maybe optimizing your server resources, Apache & MySQL configurations, etc, etc could give you enough performance boost. If no, upgrading your dedicated machines could be better (less expensive) solution. I can authenticate myself so you could be sure that I will do no harm to your server / services nor abuse your data. Also, I am ready to sign NDA if needed. I can be verified for example by VAT EU number. You could also consider to hire me on a hourly rate basis as it might be impossible to guess amount of needed work for that at this stage. cheers

Hello, when I check your current stats, it says more than 7 million posts and nearly 39000 users are present in your forum. Generally in these cases, MySQL InnoDB or MyISAM db engines are not being able to process to many transactions at the same time with more than 3 million records. If you're using MSSQL or Oracle DB, this can be another issue but I guess you're using MySQL. The solution is to optimize the db by changing the db engine to a brand new one that can be able to deal with too many transactions with compressed data.
