Enhance existing ASP.NET + SQL Server 2000 web-based email system

We are looking for a professional ASP.NET programmer to improve and expand the capabilities of a custom web-based email application we've built. The application was written in VB.NET using and SQL Server 2000 database. The features we want to add are: 1) Conversation grouping (like the way Gmail groups replies, etc. together). 2) Automatic address book (safe list for SPAM) 3) Moving emails between accounts (in case we want to transfer an email from one account to a different one in the system). 4) Advanced search options This application is part of our internal customer support software. Therefore, we are not looking to have it rewritten, but rather just have it improved. This will require you to modify the existing code, using a clear coding style, and work with us to integrate the application with other modules we currently use. We estimate this project should take 3 - 4 weeks at most. Please only bid if you are willing to work with the existing code. Thank you. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
