DirectShow filter - noise reduction

I need a DirectShow filter (probably In Place Transform filter, or Transform filter) which automatically remove noise in the audio stream. The filter should accept PCM audio data (any sample rate, channel, and bits per sample). It will automatically remove the noises in the audio before it send the data out through the output pin. The noise is controlled by frequency. It should provide an interface to accept a list of filtered frequencies. For example, the interface should be something like: INoiseFilter { Reset(void); AddFilterRange(const unsigned long inStart, const unsigned long inEnd); } For example, a 44.1khz sample rate audio contains frequency from 0 to 22.05khz. If I call AddFilterRange(8000, 22050), it will remove all the frequencies above 8khz. The result audio should sound like 16khz sample rate audio because the high frequencies are removed. It must be written in VC6. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows 98SE, ME, 2000 and XP. DirectX 9.0 or later.
