Hello Coders! We have a requirement for the implementation of a simple Gateway component for Microsoft Exchange Server, Exchange gateways must be written in C++. The gateway needs to receive email from Outlook users with a FAX address type and forward it via SMTP to a Internet based email-to-fax gateway. What should happen is the user sends an email to a FAX address, these are in the format [FAX:02087714623], (Outlook usually suppresses this format from the user) the gateway will then receive the email, it then needs to change the address format to 02087714623@[login to view URL] (this domain needs to be user configurable) and send it on its way to the SMTP connector that is part of Exchange and out to the Internet. The documentation for Exchange Server 5.5 gateways is located at [login to view URL] . The project should include a clean installaton and uninstalltion routine and not require the server to be logged on (i.e. it must run as a service). Any UI should be restricted to the gateway properties in Exchange System manager, which should just contain the fax-to-email gateway domain and an option to write details of Faxes/emails that pass through the gateway to the application log. Email attachments should pass through the gateway unchanged (they are rendered by the Internet Email-Fax Gateway). In order to keep the cost down there is no requirement for NDRs. Needless to say, I would like the program to be tested and stable.
## Deliverables
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in binary form as well as complete source code of all work done. The code must be tested and packaged as an MSI or other clean installation and uninstallation routine/technology. Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
## Platform
The program needs to run on Windows 2000 Server and Exchange 2000 and Exchange 5.5. Should anyone be willing to do only the Exchange 2000 gateway, this may be acceptable, please offer this information with your bid.
