PHP & Flatfile Database

We need two simple PHP scripts written, plus an email template, to write basic information to a flatfile database. Part One We need a PHP simple script to POST three pieces of information to: CODE, EMAIL, and DATE. This will be the product number of an item we no longer have in stock, the email address of a customer who would like to be notified when the product is back in stock, and today's date. Because we don't anticipate a large file, we want the PHP script to post this information to a flatfile database. Part Two We need a simple PHP script that can be run by a daily CRON job. The script passes each product code in the flatfile database to an external PHP script to check current inventory. If a product in the flatfile is in stock, it sends an email to the appropriate email address(es) from a template. That email address(es) and product code are now moved to an "archived" data field with the original date added and the date archived.
