I have a web site that sels pins with over 15,000 items displayed. The URL: [login to view URL] Location of the image, price, short description and availability status are stored in MS Access db. All scripts are in Active Perl for Win32. Win32:ODBC module is used to transfer information to/from the database. There are two bugs that I can't fix myself and one enhancement:
1)sometimes the selected item is added to the database twice;
2)When the "available" item is selected by a visitor and added to the shopping cart a confirmation page is presented. It may show the item status as "reserved", though it is "available". Somehow the status update happens before the confirmation page is built... 3)IP address of the visiotr is used to track the orders. At the checkout it is replaced by an email address. I will need another approach of tracking orders so that previous orders would be different from new ones (maybe through cookies).
