Excel Refresh

Scenario: I have a folder sitting on my desktop or server with 4 excel 2013 files in it. These 4 workbooks are reports that have data connections to other sources like sql or another workbook. In order to refresh these files for others to view I have to constantly open them, let them refresh, save and close them. Solution Needed: How do I get the data in these files to refresh automatically every hour... without them needing to be opened up manually. 1. Need a program that refreshes the data without opening 2. Need a program that will go to that folder open up the workbooks, allow them to refresh, and then close them periodically. This doesn't seem incredibly hard... please give me a high level overview of what tools or process you would use to accomplish this task and how many [login to view URL] rate.
