Wordpress blog theme template design

Looking for a Wordpress theme for a personal blog. The blog is a dog themed blog so from a design standpoint I'd like something bright and cheery, something that visually says fun dog blog. From a functional standpoint, I'm not looking for anything too special. The typical Wordpress sort of thing. Pages, widgets, social media buttons for FB, Youtube, and such. An Instagram integration so that the IG photos from two different accounts can be displayed as thumbnails as a side widget. I'm new to Wordpress and don't know a whole lot about it from a technical and design point of view. And while it is a simple, personal kind of blog, I do want to have the bright and flashy appeal of something well put together and unique and not just another template used by hundreds of others. I'd be leaving a lot of the creative input to you and would need you to lead me through a lot of this. Hopefully this works out. Thanks.
