Fix WordPress website - update theme and coding

This website was designed using Divi theme by [login to view URL], it was fully done and looking amazingly beautiful, then all of a sudden the website looks all scrambled, I am assuming it is the updating that needs to be done on themes and plugins, but I am not sure. We didnt have the backup of the website since the original programmer disappeared, I need someone to go into the Wordpress panel and ftp site and update and fix whichever code was screwed up. For some reason the password from the hosting website cpanel is not matching the one being requested inside of wordpress. In any case, i do not know how to solve this as i dont have experience with wordpress.
