WordPress Theme Development

I am looking to have a brand new WordPress theme created. The theme must comply with the latest coding specifications such as XHTML and CSS. It needs to be very flexible and can be customized easily from within the WordPress Admin section. To give you an example of the kind of flexibility I require, check out this theme here - [login to view URL] Here is the full spec of what I’m looking for: - Must be a brand new theme and not built on an existing one - Must be compatible with the latest version of WordPress - The code must be SEO friendly and comply with the latest XHTML markup specifications - The theme will be fixed width with one right hand sidebar but have several widgets to allow for easy monetization - I will have full ownership of the code and theme when this project is complete Here is the flexibility I require: - Header image can be changed easily from uploading within the WordPress admin section - The background colour can be changed too from within the WordPress admin section and also a choice of 5-10 background images to choose from. (This would include some sort of colour chart or colour wheel for the user to change themselves) - It needs to have several built in widgetized areas to allow for monetization to be placed in them. This would include top banner widget, 3 sidebar widget areas (one for social media including Facebook/Twitter integration, optin form and monetization areas) one widget area that appears in the top left of each post and one footer widget area which spans the width of the theme. If any widgetized areas are not utilized then the theme will just function normally with Pages, Categories, Archives etc in the sidebar. - It also requires easy image management. For example, if an image is used in a post it automatically gets resized and shows as a thumbnail on the homepage and archive pages. - Homepage posts will be automatically shortened by use of an excerpt. - Post titles must be in a H1 tag If there are any extras such as jQuery features that you can add, please feel free to recommend them. Overall, the theme needs to look professional and be easy to customize by the end user. I look forward to your bids.
