I'm in need of a WordPress website developer to help me create a web with similar function as online course websites like skillshare in which it works basically on a membership scheme, in which students pay a monthly subscription and could freely watch any videos on the site. I need some specific functions on the site: 1. Membership plugin in which allow students to register and subscribe on a monthly basis 2. Tutor registration page in which tutors will upload their qualifications and introductions which would be approved by the admin of the web 3. Course uploading function by tutors 4. Watch time tracker which records the total amount of time spent by students on watching videos of tutors hence calculate the amount of wage payable to online tutors on the web. 5. Dashboard of tutors should show the total amount of screentime of his/her videos (which will be updated once per day) 6. Payment system which could transfer 50% of the total revenue into a pool for the wage of tutors which will then be paid to tutors in the calculation method of (=money in pool x total watch time of video of certain tutor / total watch time of videos of all tutors) and leaving the rest for the company. 7. A discount scheme which allows students from poorer families to be able to enjoy a 60% off price for the membership. 8. An application system in which students from poor families could apply for the discount which will be approved by admin. Ideally, you should have experience in developing WordPress plugins and a good understanding of user interface design. The ability to create a clean, intuitive design for the plugin will be a huge plus. It would also be beneficial if you have experience in creating similar tools or tracking applications.

Hi, Instead of Wordpress, you should go with PHP based framework *Why* 1. Cost-effective same as Wordpress. 2. Expendable new features can be easily added with custom requirements on the other hand in Wordpress you would have to choose some prebuilt plugin that would make the site heavy, some times plugin conflict issues arise, and if need some custom requirements then need to code plugin from scratch which is expensive and come along same issues. 3. Video streaming sites could be heavy and slow using WordPress and making it best optimized would be a task on the other hand laravel and CI can handle this better.
