We own a restaurant where customers pay in cash. Employees are supposed to take the money from the customers and place it into our Point-of-Sale (POS) cash register machine. We suspect that sometimes the money doesn't make it into the machine. We have a camera system in place that records videos for up to 30 days. Objective: We are seeking a qualified freelancer to develop an object detection system that can analyze the camera footage to ensure that money handed over by the customer ends up in the cash register, and not elsewhere. If the money does not end up in the cash register, the system should send an "alarm" notification, preferably via email. Requirements: Object detection for recognizing money handed from customer to employee. Object detection for recognizing if that same money is placed into the POS machine. A mechanism to alert via email if the money does not end up in the POS machine. A user-friendly interface to access and analyze the results. The ability to work with our existing camera system, storing videos for the last 30 days. Option for real-time monitoring would be a plus. Technology: We are open to various technologies, but we've heard that YOLO object detection is effective for these kinds of applications (YOLO Object Detection). Deadline: We would like to have the project completed within 4 weeks from the project start date. Budget: Negotiable, based on estimated time and skills required.
