I need a logstash codec writing, similar to logstash-codec-csv at [login to view URL] It needs to be able to parse xlsx files and turn them into logstash events. There are other examples of codecs at [login to view URL] if you are unfamiliar with logstash codecs. It does not need to support encoding, just decoding. Each parsed row of each sheet in the xlsx file should be output as a logstash event and should contain a metadata field [@metadata][xlsx][sheet] that contains the worksheet name the row of data came from. If the configuration specifies, autodetecting column names like in logstash-codec-csv should be done. It should support all the relevant configuration options of logstash-codec-csv and should operate on one sheet at a time. If column names are to be autodetected and there are multiple sheets then column names are to be read separately for each sheet in the xlsx file.
