I need a code or a method to compare the similarity of two excel files' data in MS Access 2003 in a way that it will show if it "Passed" or "Failed", and if it Failed the validation, i need a clear report or table of all the unmatched cells.
Each of the two files is consisting of 27 to 28 columns, and +88,000 rows.
The code is preferred to be simple and reusable with other similar files.
I have attached the two files i want to compare (one of them is in txt format) . please feel free to email me if you have any questions.
please note that my budget is very limited but i have many of those mini-projects.
Thanks
Rob
hi, i can do it with VBA in access and/or excel?
please give more detail requirements about check/validate a file. Do you have 1 original and need to check other txt/excel file against it before importing into a database?
Can you please send all sample files: excel, text file and access ( if needed) so i can get what you need.
Looking forward to hearing you,
Cuong NH
