Setup TeX Live 2015 (or 2013) on Ubuntu 12.04 to have properly working pdftex with ctex

I have legacy .tex Latex files. These files contain Chinese characters (sample is attached to this project). These files did compile nicely on TeX Live 2013 by command: pdflatex --shell-escape --synctex=1 [login to view URL] (Fonts, which were used on TeX Live 2013 were: [login to view URL] and simsun.ttc.) However, after update to TeX Live 2015, I am getting this error message: Critical ctex error: "fontset-unavailable" CTeX fontset 'fandol' is unavailable in current mode. ********** The Task ********** Set-up TeX Live 2015 (on Ubuntu 12.04 - I have to use this old OS, as I need to have installed PHP 5.3) in a way which will compile attached files using command 'pdflatex --shell-escape --synctex=1 [login to view URL]' Simply list of commands which I will copy & paste to the Bash will do...
