236574 Excel macro type thing.

Hi, I've got a CSV download that comes from a banking system. I would like a visual basic code that can split this automatically, so that in future, I can just copy the raw data into my spreadsheet and it will split and subtotal it accordingly. I think this job would take someone who knew what they were doing a very little amount of time. The spreadsheets are not massive, and i can provide a copy of the raw file and also what I would like it to look like. The only slightly complicated bit might be in relation to the National Insurance numbers (UK inland revenue identifier). I want the output sheet to group by national insurance number where possible, matching the first 9 characters as there are often further identifiers after these 9 characters which can still be grouped together. There may also be random names, that should be individually grouped and a subtotal provided for also. I also need a name box to have a lookup based on the NI number to a set list of names, which I would be able to point myself once created. If you need further clarification, please ask. Thanks Paul
