Edits in my wordpress classifier theme - front page display

In the theme "classifier" i have a featured slider named Premium Listings [login to view URL] - these ads are put into there using a ad-tag. I want to change that so it displays just my featured adverts in a layout style rather than slider. i have attached some example change images to show what i mean. I am flexible on what changes can be made, whatever is the best and cheapest way to do this. Should be a simple change but when i try edit things it gets messy lol! Also you will notice it displays a grey comments box in the right hand corner on the ad posts. i would like this removing.
