We do some datalogging of etc. temperature and humidity, and we need to present this data in a report. Today we have an excel sheet, with some macro/VBS programming (Attached for coding reference Rapportgenerator ), to pull data from one excel file per logger (See attached logger data example and ), process it, generate graphs and insert the data, using placeholders, in a word template (See attached Rapportskabelon ). That results in a final report in wordfile that we will save as PDF and send to the customer (can be sent to the developer that win the project) This solution is not good for large amounts of data from large amount of loggers, since excel seem to stall out.
