***You must be able to work from 9am to 5:30pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (GMT +10), so this would ideally suit someone living in the same or similar timezone (Philippines/Singapore/Thailand/Malaysia/Indonesia etc.) Rapidly growing online travel website has a full time position for a savvy work from home online marketer/virtual assistant with some experience in the following fields: - SEO (particularly offsite) - Marketing in Social Media You will need to be a hard working individual with good communication skills, have a good understanding of the internet and its technologies, and be able to incorporate various online marketing strategies. The candidate will have to perform regular progress reports for each task performed. Responsibilities: - Researching websites for link building opportunities. - Finding contact details and email addresses from websites. - Keyword researching and monitoring. - Competitor analysis. - Conduct competitive and comparative analysis on site structure, keyword density, content, and link popularity for each website. - Providing reports for management. - Keeping up to date on the latest SEO/SEM trends and changes. Requirements: - Knowledge in white hat SEO/SEM methods and best practices. - Basic programming and web design knowledge, and how it affects SEO. - Extensive experience with search engine mechanics, Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc. - Familiar with web development, HTML, and the Internet. - Specific knowledge and strict adherence to proper SEO guidelines with respect to coding and established copy/keyword best practices. - Ability to write SEO and marketing content. - Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) Other Requirements: - Computer set up at home with a fast and reliable Internet connection. - Ability to use the MSN messenger program to communicate with management. - Must be able to work 9am-5:30pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (GMT +10).
