Ecomm Website - XML Data Feed

**Summary:** We need a custom ecommerce website solution which will focus on the promotional products industry. The site must be search engine and user “friendly??. The website will be populated with thousands of products provided by xml stream from 3rd party company (Demo Files included in this document). This solution will allow us to have complete control over how promotional product data is used on the site. Ie, sorting products and categories, providing search features, etc. Hence, the data is hosted on our servers for easy access to search engines and shopping cart technologies. We do not have a technology or cart solution in mind at this point, but the site must be modular to allow us to add and move “sections?? to the home page or site template. For instance, we may want to create and move a weekly “deals?? section from the right nav bar to the left nav bar. Although the site is custom, we feel that the design can be based off existing open-source ecommerce or content management systems. The site must be designed with the the ability to expand and add features as we grow. In other words, we need a modular design that is not going to be outdated in 2 years. See attachments for more detail. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform ideally this will work on linux server in php or other similar web language(s).
