I am a voluntarily retired Deputy General Manager (Hindi) of State Bank of India, Mumbai. Holding that post for about 10 years, I was the all-India in-charge of Translation, Training and PR departments of SBI.
Earlier, I was the Assistant General Manager (Hindi) in Reserve Bank of India, Mumbai for about 21 years.
Earlier to that, I was Senior Hindi Translator in Office of the Development Commissioner, Small Scale Industries, Ministry of Industries, Nirman Bhavan, New Delhi for about two years.
Presently I am working as the Editor (Hindi) of the largest selling career magazine "Competition Success Review", New Delhi.
As such, I have more than 30 years' experience of Editing, Writing, Translation, Teaching Hindi to non-Hindi speaking executives and administration of various departments in very large and reputed institutions of India. I have equal command over Hindi and English, both the languages along with sound knowledge of Sanskrit and Urdu.
Qualification wise I am BA with Hindi, English, Sanskrit and Economics; MA in Hindi, PG Dip in Journalism and PhD in Hindi from University of Delhi.
Also, I am a very senior and reputed Hindi writer having published more than 500 articles and 50+ books on various subjects including banking, finance and management. These books include the "Encyclopedic Dictionary of Banking and Finance" prepared by me with more than 10,000 words. I was the member of the committee on terminology of Reserve Bank of India who prepared Banking Glossary and Banking Dictionary for whole the Indian banking industry.
I am considered one of the best Indian translators having translated more than 10 English books into Hindi for the reputed Publishers and companies such as Jaico Publishing House, Mumbai; Vishwa Books, New Delhi; National Institute of Open Schooling, New Delhi etc. Recently I have translated John Leach's book "The Success Factor" for Jaico Publishing House, Mumbai; "Kautilya's Arthshastra" for Priyadarshini Academy, Mumbai; Aseem Chaudhury's "Vivekanand A Born Leader" for Advait Aashram, Kolkata, and Ingrid Albuquerque-Solomon's "Not Allowed to Cry : The Birla Battle with Cancer" for Berean Bay Media House Pvt. Ltd., Banglore.
