I am looking to hire a Freelancer to help me use the vSphere Lifecycle Manager (vLCM) API to patch a group of ESXi hosts. The API will specifically be used for managing patches to ESXi hosts, and it will also support creating custom patches. I do not expect to use the API for any purpose other than patching the ESXi hosts. The project should include, but not be limited to, setting up the API, using the API to generate and manage patches, as well as testing and validating the patching process. The patching should be completed in a timely manner, and with minimal disruption to daily operations. The Freelancer should be able to troubleshoot any issues that might arise. The successful candidate should have experience with vLCM, as well as the ability to use APIs to perform patching operations. Extensive knowledge of ESXi hosts and patching schemes is highly valued. The hired Freelancer should have a strong understanding of best practices when dealing with server and network security.
