facing an issue on magento site for Product Autoslider at home page and brand page

Hello, we are designing and building a Magento based site. which is completed. we are facing a small issues. you can either sort the issue your self or tell our developer to apply. issues 1- on home page we want to auto slide the product "Best Seller" we do not want to use any magento based extension because it will mean redisign the theme and making it responsive. our magento site is based on ultimo theme, we have another magento site which is on ultimo as well, A code for autoslider is working fine on that site but not on this site, we have copied all the files but no result. 2- brand page, we have created a brand page on our website to show all the brand the issue is it is showing more then 1 A in brand lists, and has different brand under each A so it is not copying the brands under each A. also under B, C, D there are more then one of each of these on these pages. also we want to limit the amount of brand on this all brand page to limit the page size, currently it is showing too long. any question please ask.
