So the program would routinely (every 5 min) check the price and the second it is greater then or equal to $2.90 it would send me an email. The sportsbooks I would like to start with are Pinnacle, SBO, 5dimes, matchbook and Betfair. All of these have XML or API feeds. You might instead be able to piggyback off odds comparison sites such as betbrain or oddschecker.
