Specific to Fusion 360 expert users only - I would like to see demonstrated skills with complex curves and shapes, done in a clean way that can be modified during subsequent prototype testing. Models will be used for CNC machining of prototypes. Should also have proficiency in working with 3D stl data I can provide to show specific details that need to be modeled in Fusion. USA "can" be an advantage here - as past projects have required sending parts to freelancers. To protect IP I have simplified an existing model and attached an STP for your review. Cover 3 RFQ v1 - this is a very simplified version of a real model. This would need a lot of refining but can show you the scale of the part. Some of the picture images will show more appropriate expectations for finished versions. Thank you for looking into this project. These projects always seem difficult to outsource due to the custom nature of our product line, and continual refinements based on CNC machining cost (leading to product cost), aesthetics, specific customer constraints (one very high end professional race team looking to save any gram possible). Again, I am ONLY looking for native Fusion 360 models, and with the entire history line as intact as possible (assuming the need for some sculpting work). Make 3D design in STL or a bicycle fork, ready for 3d printing and/or diecasting. Do engineering calculations to decide how thick the material should be where, in order for the fork to be strong enough and fit for purpose. Solid modelling project complete the overall design and the design of the various vice components from the diagrams provided. More specifically you are required to: 1. Create parametric feature-based solid models for all the components either shown or listed in the following pages. This includes the rubber jaw protectors. 2. Create an assembly model showing all parts in their working position when the opposing faces of the hard jaws are separated by 30 mm and when the ball to screw distance is set at 55mm. 3. Set up a parametric relationship equation between the Base and the Clamp to satisfy the design requirement as outlined in the Background information above. 2 MEC2304 – Solid modelling 4. Produce an engineering assembly drawing of the vice as configured in 2 above. In addition to the orthographic views the drawing should also include a 3D view, title block, parts lists, and other information generally shown in assembly drawings. 5. Produce fully dimensioned engineering detail drawings for the parts listed below: • Base • Swivel jaw • Sliding jaw • Clamp • Guides and bushes • Rubber pad with the metal lug • Jaw inserts and jaw-face protectors Specify appropriate surface finish requirements, general tolerances, and other information normally shown in a detail drawing. Also include a 3D view of the part in addition to the orthographic views or view. 6. Nominate and justify suitable fits and tolerances on a separate A4 sheet for the following mating parts / features: • Bush / jaw bush hole / guide pin The basic size and tolerance sizes for each fit should be included on the sheet.
